Summer Reading Kick off Party! Be here and be ready
for summer reading! The concert will be held
outdoors, weather permitting.
JUNE FRI 20th at 9:30am, The BEE Movie! Bring a
sleeping bag, pillow, and friend to watch the Bee
Movie!
JULY FRI 11th at 1pm, Chris McBrien, “The Magic
Storyteller” Will be here
Performing Bugging Out for Books, with his special
guest Gracie the ladybug!
AUG FRI
1st at 12pm Babaloo Music and Fun! End of the summer
party. In order to participate in the concert and
get your goody bag participants must have completed
5 reading logs.
JUNE Programs: Sign up will begin May 15th
MON June 2nd at 6:30pm, Father’s Day Storytime. Ages
3 and up.
WED 4th at 1:30pm, Chat and Chew Chapters Club, ages
7 and up.
THUR 5th at 10am, Craft Time: Fire Fly Jars, ages 3
and up.
FRI 6th at 9:30am, Morning Movie, bring a snack and
pillow and enjoy the show. All ages welcome.
MON 9th at 7pm, Babaloo Music and Fun Summer Reading

ages 3 and up.

THUR 12th at 10am, Craft Time: Prehistoric Pets.
Ages 4 and up.
SAT 14th at 10am, Find it Fast Bug Hunt and facts,
ages 7 and up.
MON 16th at 6:30pm, Bug Hunt and Bee Movie, ages 4
and up.
WED 18th at 1:30pm, Chat and Chew Chapters Club,
ages 7 and up.
THURS 19th at 10am, Craft Time: Beautiful
Butterflies, ages 4 and up.
FRI 20th at 9:30am, Morning Movie, bring a snack
and pillow and enjoy the show. All ages welcome.
MON 23rd at 6:30pm, Firefly Storytime and craft,
ages 4 and up.
TUE 24th at 1pm, Poisonous and Venomous
Things! Scared of snakes, and spiders...fear no
more! Learn to identify common outdoor
hazards with Powder Valley Conservationist. Ages
6 and older
WED 25th at 1:30pm, Chat and Chew Chapters Club,
ages 7 and up.
THURS 26th at 10am, Craft Time: Fly swatter
painting. Ages 4 and up. This event will only be
held outside weather permitting. If it rains the
event will be cancelled.
THURS 26th at 2pm, Reptiles of Missouri, Snakes,
turtles and lizards oh my! Find out what makes
an animal a reptile and touch real reptiles with
the Powder Valley Conservation Dept. Ages 11 and
up ONLY.
FRI 27th at 9:30am, Morning Movie, bring a snack
and pillow and enjoy the show. All ages welcome.

ages 3 and up.

THUR 17th at 10am, Craft Time: Painting Plaster
Bugs. Ages 4 and up.
WED 23rd at 1:30pm, Chat and Chew Chapters
Club, ages 7 and up.
THURS 24th at 10am, Craft Time: Lady Bag
Pouches, ages 4 and up.
FRI 25th at 9:30am, Morning Movie, bring a
snack and pillow and enjoy the show. All
ages welcome.
MON 28th at 6:30pm, Build a bee hive, ages 4
and up. Please bring a wire coat hanger.
WED 30th at 1:30pm, Chat and Chew Chapters
Club, Pizza Party ages 7 and up. Remember,
to attend this event you must have attended
2 other chat and chew sessions.
THURS 31st at 10am, Craft Time: Bug Puppets.
Ages 5 and up. If you would like to bring
additional materials for your bug puppet you
are welcome to do so.
