TEEN ANIME CLUB Saturday, April 27 @ 2:00-3:00 p.m. Learn how to create art like the masters! This month, we will be learning about Pointilism and working on a project similar to the artwork of Georges Seurat. For ages 8-16 years! Sign-up requested! BOOK BITES: TEEN BOOK CLUB PUZZLED! A local speleologist will be here to talk about caving and various places he's been. He will have a slide presentation with a question and answer session afterward. Sign up required. All ages welcome. *June 6, Ancient Egyptian Collar Craft: 6:30 pm. Make your own Egyptian collar. Please bring an old t-shirt, as we will be cutting off the top half. Paints and embellishments will be provided. Sign up is required. Ages 8-16. *June 7, Guest Speaker from the FBI: i:00 pm. A representative will be talking about who they are and what they do. Sign up is required. Ages 8 and up. June 11 & 25 , Teen Art Club: 7-8 pm. Please bring a sketch pad and pencil. Ages 8-16. *June 12, Decoding Hieroglyphs & Cave Painting:6:30 pm. Learn and decipher the Egyptian alphabet. Make a cave painting. Sign up is required. Ages 8-16. *June 13, Pyramid Art: 6:30 pm. Make and decorate a pyramid. Sign up is required. Ages 8-16. *June 14, Mastodon State Historic Site Presentation: 10 am. A representative will be here to tell us about the park. Sign up required. Ages 8 and up. *June 18, Craft Stick Treasure Box: 6:30 pm. Make one out of Popsicle sticks and decorate to your liking. Sign up is required. Ages 8-16 . *June 19, Marshmallow Pyramids: 6:30 pm. Can you build a pyramid that won't fall down? Sign up is required. Ages 8-16. *June 20, Undercover Art: 6:30 pm. Make a scratch art design using old cds. Sign up required. Ages 8-16. *June 27, Trash Can Archaeology: 6:30 pm. Think you know a person? How about other cultures? Going through their garbage can reveal a lot about someone. Sign up required. Ages 8-16.
